The 2009 Franklin Jazz Festival is celebrating its 20th year in Historic downtown Franklin on September 5-6. The festival is produced by Zia Music Productions and is considered on of the top jazz festivals in the Southeast.
Children should find the "Musical Petting Zoo" of interest. They can try out the various instruments with the assistance of music professionals. What a fun way to see what instruments interest your budding musician.
The Nashville Jazz Orchestra will perform at 8:30 PM on Sunday. Artists that performed throughout the past 20 years of the festival will be featured.
Proceeds from the ticket sales will be used for Brightstone and the GEAR Foundation.
